The Summerdaze Festival is a month-long fun-filled programme of events to entertain locals and visitors to the Queenstown Lakes district.

Summerdaze, celebrating its sixth anniversary, has a calendar packed with events for the whole family - featuring music, sports, arts and crafts.
The popular teddy bear’s picnic attracts hundreds of littlies for face-painting, story-telling, games and much more, there are skateboarding competitions, cultural plays as well as mountain biking events, triathlons, rodeo, markets, outdoor cinemas and plenty more.
The signature New Year’s Eve celebrations on the lakefront in Queenstown and Wanaka will provide a great line-up of bands including the Oxo Cubans and the Medicine Men in Queenstown, Retrosonic and The Cartel in Wanaka and a dazzling firework display to welcome in 2010.
