January marks the inaugural Peak Festival 2009; a one-day music festival, showcasing a not-to-be-missed line-up of major New Zealand and international artists, set to become an annual event. And if cars are your passion, don’t miss the Queenstown Auto Extravaganza. Sporting enthusiasts can participate in the Lake Hayes Triathlon, spectate at the International Cricket test between the Black Caps and West Indies on New Year’s Eve or cheer on the lads at the Rugby 7’s.
